The Square-Cut Walnut Baklava starts with 12 sheets of our homemade filo dough as the base. A layer of walnuts mixed with Ceylon cinnamon is then spread over the base and covered with 14 sheets of dough.
Once assembled, this baklava is cut into squares and slow-baked with clarified butter. After baking, it is sweetened with homemade syrup that has been flavored with a mix of rose and orange blossom water.
